Board of Directors

Ryan Hagan

After graduating from St. John’s University (Collegeville, Minnesota) with degrees in accounting and business management, Ryan served with the Christian Appalachian Project where he worked in respite care with the elderly and terminally ill. During that time, Ryan started the first soccer program in Floyd County, Kentucky which has since grown to a program of approximately 1,000 kids in eight counties of Eastern Kentucky. Ryan has also served on various boards and committees ranging from school districts, mental health organizations, a restorative justice program, and other community service agencies. Ryan’s greatest passion is serving others in a way that goes beyond oneself.

Back in college, Ryan worked for Sr. Dolores Schuh who was the Executive Assistant with The Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research. During that time, Sr. Dolores provided an interest-free loan to Ryan so that he could stay in college and graduate on time. Sr. Dolores said “someday, you will do this for someone else”. If only all of us had a Sr. Dolores in our lives.

Ryan is a CPA and works with Altruic Advisors, a CPA firm that works solely with nonprofit organizations. Ryan is currently a board member and Secretary for The Dolores Fund.

Jason McIndoe

Jason believes that we live in a world that is broken - and poverty, separated families and other hardships are symptoms of this brokenness.  But God is at work in redeeming and repairing this brokenness, and Jason is excited to have a front-row seat to watch God do this great work through The Dolores Fund.

Jason is currently serving as a board member and president for The Dolores Fund, and he loves getting to work alongside those whom we serve to help them overcome some of life’s obstacles.   Jason graduated from Ohio University (go Bobcats!) with a degree in mechanical engineering and later from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with an MBA.  Jason is an employee-owner at DCS Corporation where he provides engineering and project management services for the Department of Defense.  His past volunteer work has involved various roles within the church.

Jason and his wife Rebecca have two awesome kids and are active at Oak Pointe Church|Milford in Milford, Michigan.  He and his family love doing just about anything that involves being active outdoors.
